Hello everyone,
may I briefly introduce myself? I’m Verena, mother of two grown-up sons and also the “mother” of Orangenkinder® children’s shoes….
I have been a shoe designer for more than 30 years and for more than 20 years I have been designing and developing children’s shoes to the highest ecological standards – as sustainable as possible. This is not always easy and there is still a lot of room for improvement.
How did it all start?
More than 20 years ago, when my children were still small, I was looking for beautiful ecological crawling shoes. There was either only one or the other.
Ecological or beautiful – I wanted both!
That’s when I had the idea to make the shoes myself that I couldn’t find anywhere. I became self-employed and made a name for myself with ecological children’s shoes.
At the beginning of 2021, the company Orangenkinder® was born, in which I can bundle all the experience of the last decades and hopefully develop it further together with you.
I’m already looking forward to it!
