How to find the right size for your Orangenkinder®:

To find the right shoe size, grab a sturdy piece of paper/cardboard, place your child’s feet on it without socks, and trace the outline of their feet. Your child’s toes should be stretched out and they should be standing as upright as possible.
Measure from the middle of the heel to the longest toe in cm. You can also use the cut-out template to check whether your feet fit into the desired Orangenkinder® shoes at the specialist shop – because… children’s feet grow rapidly in the first few years, on average two to three sizes a year. The little feet need space and should not be damaged by shoes that are too tight.

IMPORTANT! The required size increase is already included in the table – please do not add anything to the measured foot length!

Please note the following:

For our slippers, Wollis and Amigos

We recommend our felt and wool fleece insoles to compensate for size differences. To the insoles

Our slippers are handmade unique items made from natural materials and can vary in size by a few mm.

For our street shoes

With our cup soles, the insole can be easily removed. The imprint of the insole makes it easy to see where the foot is currently sitting and whether the shoe still fits. Otherwise, measure the feet as described above and select the appropriate insole length (ISL) from the size chart.

For shoes with crepe soles, please use a standard measuring device, as the sole cannot be removed due to the design.

Once you have found your own pair of Orangenkinder, the size should be checked regularly, preferably monthly – depending on the growth phase.

Extra tip: Lined shoes should be bought larger, as the 100% wool lining of Orangenkinder shoes reduces the volume inside the shoe.
