Verena Carney
Managing Director & Shoe Designer
Verena is the creative mind behind the design of Orangenkinder®, a mother herself, and our managing director. With over 30 years of experience in the shoe industry (including 20 years in children’s shoes), she knows exactly what you Orangenkinder want and, most importantly, what is best for growing children’s feet.
Melanie Mehringer
Accounting & Office
This is Melanie – she has been with the Orangenkinder team since March 2021 and makes sure that everything is correct in accounting and is happy to take your questions and calls. 📞 What she likes most is the great team and the colorful variety of natural leathers that we process here at Orangenkinder®.
Sunny Fachri Oglou
Sales & Marketing
Sunny has been bringing a breath of fresh air to the ever-growing Orangenkinder world since July 2021. 🌎 His area of responsibility is primarily sales, marketing and, in particular, maintaining contact with our retailers and partners. Visit us at a trade fair and let Sunny introduce you to our Orangenkinder®!
Julia
Social Media & Design
Julia is a trained material designer and has an eye for detail. With style and charm, she creates our social media posts, actively supported by her super sweet daughter Elli, who you often see in our photos. She also takes care of our collaborations, both with bloggers and with other companies. So, if you want to work with us, Julia is your contact!
Diana
Office & Online Shop
Diana is our all-rounder for the office. Here she supports us in looking after online shop customers, processes returns and orders and organizes everything that comes up in the office every day. Through her two young daughters of kindergarten age, she knows exactly what mommies want and is happy to help you with your telephone inquiries and e-mails.
Julia
Embroiderer
This is Julia, she is responsible for all the great embroidery on our crawling shoes. She has been doing this, and many other organizational tasks in production, for over fifteen years. 🇩🇪
What she likes most is working on her embroidery machines and, of course, the team spirit.
Petra
Multi-talent
This is Petra and she has been with us since the very beginning (joined the team: May 2005!). Over the years, she has gotten to know all possible stages of children’s shoe production here in Oberreichenbach. 🇩🇪 She is therefore multi-functional: sometimes she operates the punching machine as shown here, sometimes she sews, sometimes she packs. She always helps out where help is needed on the machine!
Banu
Seamstress
This is Banu, who is always in a good mood and concentrated at the sewing machine. She comes to our workshop from Nuremberg and, according to her own statement, loves to sew. So the perfect addition to our team.
Christine
Seamstress
This is Christine, she is one of our great seamstresses and has been working here in Oberreichenbach since 2015! #MadeInGermany 🇩🇪
She is most enthusiastic about the teamwork and the creative work as a seamstress at Orangenkinder®. She prefers to make doll shoes and keychains, all with a nimble and practiced hand at the sewing machine.
Nicole
Production
This is Nicole and she is currently punching out the red parts for Frankie the fire engine.🚒 Nicole has been working here in our factory in production for 10 years. She enjoys working on the machines the most. She is not only hard-working but also sporty and likes to cycle the long way from home to our factory on her e-bike. 🚴♀️
Our team
Our team of motivated employees from the office, punching shop, sewing shop and picking department give their all every day so that you can wear your great shoes on your feet as quickly as possible. There is a lot of laughter and chatter, but above all concentrated work – because we want you to be satisfied – you Orangenkinder!
