AMIGO Barefoot Shoes
Our Orangenkinder® “AMIGOS” are handmade from breathable and vegetable-tanned organic nappa leather. Thanks to the non-slip, flexible sole made of rubber and recycled cork, they are suitable for small walkers indoors and in dry outdoor areas.
Special feature: Our Amigo sole is not glued – only sewn! This means that we do without potentially toxic glue and protect the environment.
Perfect as house and kindergarten shoes, as well as barefoot shoes for the first steps outside, the breathable, particularly skin-friendly natural leather and the non-slip, water-repellent sole ensure an all-round safe and comfortable wearing experience when romping, playing and dancing.
KIGA: For many kindergartens today, a thin leather sole is unfortunately no longer sufficient. A kindergarten shoe with a water-repellent sole is therefore required for the wet area and the short trip to the yard. Our AMIGO barefoot sole is ideal for this, as it sits under a layer of breathable natural leather so that the little feet do not sweat unnecessarily.
Thanks to a hand-sewn elastic band, the shoe cannot slip off with the very little ones and the older ones can easily slip in and out. This makes the work easier for parents and educators in everyday life.
As an alternative to the elastic band, there is also our lace-up for the very small running starters. This allows the shoe to be individually adjusted to the child’s foot. Quickly tie a double knot and the shoe stays where it belongs all day – on the foot!
First and foremost – barefoot running is the best for children’s feet and their healthy development. But sometimes a slightly firmer sole is required. Our Amigos are ideal for this, because despite the firmer sole, it is flexible and soft. Explore the world healthily without hindering restrictions.
Sometimes you can also see smaller blemishes such as scars and natural features on the natural leather. This is how you can tell that the surface is not coated and the leather can still breathe. You can take this into account when caring for your high-quality shoes and impregnate your shoes well before wearing them outdoors.
