Rattle made of 100% cotton, polyester filling wadding (washable & suitable for allergy sufferers): Handmade unique crocheted item by‘Häkelzauber’. This product complies with EU requirements and is CE-marked.
Our leather: Soft, vegetable-tanned, chrome-free organic nappa leather from IVN-certified German tanners.
Uncoated skin-friendly natural leather: Breathable and compostable.

Optimum fit for healthy foot development.
Children should walk barefoot as much and as long as possible. Where this is not possible because the ground is too cold or the feet need to be protected, our soft leather slippers are the ideal solution.
Our Orangenkinder® leather slippers “Paula the Pony” are made entirely by hand from breathable and vegetable-tanned organic leather. Perfect as walking shoes, crawling shoes, but also to protect small children’s feet – they offer enough room to grow without constricting the feet. For a wearing sensation that almost equals healthy barefoot walking.
They are not only particularly comfortable but also extremely practical. An elastic band sewn in by hand prevents the shoe from slipping off the very little ones and the older ones can slip in and out easily.
The natural leather used is completely uncoated and is tested and processed according to strict ecological guidelines. Our leather slippers for children are therefore particularly breathable and harmless for sensitive baby and children’s feet, like a second skin.

Material
Upper material: 100% natural leather
Our natural leather is vegetable-tanned and chrome-free, making it particularly skin-friendly. It is characterized by its wonderful softness, feel, naturalness and beautiful colors.
Outsole & cover sole: 100% natural leather
Completely uncoated and breathable. This provides a super healthy climate for little feet, i.e. they sweat little or not at all. Our leather is also naturally slip-resistant, durable and robust.
Baby rattle
Main material: 100% cotton (sustainable and free of harmful substances)
Filling: polyester filling wadding (also suitable for allergy sufferers & washable), tested according to DIN EN 71-3
Wooden ring: FSC beech, untreated, diameter 70 mm with a ring thickness of 10 mm.
There is a rattle ball in the head that makes a slight noise when it moves.
Care instructions
To keep the natural leather of Orangenkinder® children’s shoes as durable as possible, it must be cared for so that it remains supple, soft and crack-resistant! We recommend using an ecological leather care product for this, such as Tapir – also available here in our store: here
Alternatively, you can also grease dark Orangenkinder® natural leather with commercially available olive oil from the household – leave to soak in and then polish with a soft cloth – your leather slippers will look like new again!
Dirty shoes:
Only brush off – do not wash, rinse or use detergents, washing-up liquid, etc.! If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth.
Take care in wet conditions:
Dyed leathers (intensive colors) can stain due to moisture/sweat.
For drying:
Stuff with newspaper to dry, without strong external effects (no heating, etc.).
Sole:
Roughen natural leather soles occasionally with a wire brush so that the shoes remain non-slip.
Baby rattle
Please only wash the crochet rattle by hand. For a quicker drying time, lightly press in with a towel and then leave to dry lying down. Wipe the wooden ring with a damp cloth.
Safety instructions
Suitable for children aged 0 and over (the product has been tested for toy safety and only certified materials are used). CE marking in accordance with Directive 2009/48/EC on the safety of toys.
